How to Have a Great Website
  • Pleasing to the eye
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While not everyone can agree on what they like, we can all agree that there are numerous sites we hate

  • Easy to navigate
Navigational links are constant throughout the site, avoiding mysterious icons and bizarre text labels

  • Fast Loading
Few things on the web are more frustrating than a page that takes forever to load. My sites are streamlined to reduce load times

  • Timely Content
What's the point of having a site if it isn't kept up to date? Content management and editing can be provided via software, database, or back-end programming

  • Provides Interactivity
Simple techniques can greatly enhance a user's experience, from simple rollover hyperlinks, to complex flash interactivity. The trick is to find a balance that is not overwhelming or it can end up detracting from the user experience
